I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July. I've uploaded a bunch of firework pictures to my Flickr. I'm lazy so instead of putting them all here I will just link my Flickr. :) Enjoy.

I can't believe that it is already July. I know I say this every time a new month starts but I have to say it again. This year is just flying by so quickly. I wish it would slow down just a tad. My birthday is in ten days. I will be twenty two years old. I know it's not old but I sure do feel old, haha. On another note, it rained a few days ago. Bryan pointed out a rainbow to me and the only part I saw was the end of the rainbow. Then I saw both ends of the rainbow. I was excited since I've never seen both ends at the same time. The further we went down the road the more the rainbow I could see. Finally I was able to see the entire rainbow. That was the very first time I had ever seen an entire rainbow. I know it probably seems silly to get so excited over seeing a rainbow but I was, haha. Anyways, I managed to get a few pictures of the rainbow before it disappeared. It was my first time trying to capture a rainbow. I only have a point and shoot so it's not the best picture every but I like it. These two pictures were the best I could get. Enjoy. :)

Although almost every day at Six Apart is Take Your Dog to Work Day, Friday was extra special because it was the official Take Your Dog to Work Day! Plus, as lovers of blogs and animals, we think it's great that active blogger and Human Society's President and CEO, Wayne Pacelle, thinks having dogs around the office is a good reminder of "who we're working for."

We realize some people have it ruff and aren't lucky enough to be able to bring their dog to work, but hopefully these pictures taken at Six Apart last Friday will get your tails wagging... And let me tell you, it's harder than it looks to get all the doggies and their fetching owners in one picture.

DETROIT (AP) — Thieves seeking copper to sell as scrap may have stolen an 8-foot statue of Jesus Christ off a cross in Detroit. Problem is, it's made of plaster.

The Rev. Barry Randolph says the statue at the Church of the Messiah is a green color and looks like copper. The church has made a public plea for help.

It's unclear when the statue was snatched. A parishioner noticed it missing recently, and a small piece of plaster was found nearby.
